Hello fellow book lovers and welcome. Welcome to my little corner of the internet. My name is Anna Christine and I am The Bean Town Reader.
I have always loved to read. As far back as I can remember if I had free time I had a book in my hands. To this day I don't go anywhere without a book in my purse or backpack. You never know when you will have a few free minutes to devour a chapter or two. What I love most about reading is that when I am inside the pages of a book I can travel to distant lands, make tons of diverse friends from humans to wizards to goblins and so many more, I can cast spells, and last but not least I can escape everything else for a while. (not that my life needs to be escaped from...I have a wonderful life)
Here at The Bean Town Reader I will be posting everything from book reviews, to book hauls. I will be participating in Books and Cupcakes "Book Photo Challenge" (http://books-cupcakes.tumblr.com ), The Broke and the Bookish's "Top Ten Tuesdays" (http://www.brokeandbookish.com), and Top Ten Wednesday created by Lainey from GingerReadsLainey (https://www.youtube.com/user/gingerreadslainey) (http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/118368-top-5-wednesday). Also I will be posting what I call "Rapid Recaps" where I will write small summaries to each chapter of the books that I read. The purpose of this will be for anyone who may have read the book a long time ago and can't remember certain details. In that case come on over to The Bean Town Reader and search to see if I have recapped it and BOOM you don't have to read the whole book again...that isn't a bad thing to do though, I love to reread books, but sometimes you just don't have the time.
